Why Choose National Resource Center for Education

Real Civics

Help the National Resource Center for Education donate civics materials to a school of your choice. We provide ancillary materials that enable students to learn how our Constitutional Republic was intended to function and also fulfill their state's requirements for high school civics instruction.

Financial Stewardship

This site provides support for numerous areas of practical training beyond managing money, including character, time management, and more.

Leadership Skills

Leadworthy is a leadership development and character education elective for both middle school and high school students that helps them to develop critical, life-changing skills including taking personal responsibility, expressing themselves well, and making good decisions when problems arise.

Reading, Writing, Spelling

Literacy Essentials uses writing and spelling to teach reading, wiring children's brains to think deeply. This curriculum covers phonemic awareness, the alphabetic code which includes 72 common English spelling patterns or phonograms, orthography, vocabulary, writing and grammar, reading from accuracy to automaticity, and reading comprehension.

Grammar

This curriculum presents grammar in a clear, orderly way, while simultaneously seeking to cultivate a child’s wonder of language by presenting instruction in the context of narrative and language, attractive illustrations, and samples taken from classic children’s literature and poetry. Students will not merely be able to identify the parts of a sentence, but also will understand how words behave in a sentence.

Latin & Phonics

The Latin Road to English Grammar seamlessly weaves a full Latin language course with a comprehensive English grammar study.  The PHONICS Road to Spelling and Reading allows the student to learn to build the English language in the same way a carpenter would learn to build a house

Science & Math

Apologia offers a full range of science, math, and health curriculum, from elementary courses through advanced high school materials, all founded upon a belief in objective truth. Apologia's direct conversational style textbooks and household labs are perfectly tailored for students to learn wherever they are.
